Microcities: Introducing the Modular, Foldable Electric Car

Most of you in transport design circles would have seen this a few years ago; the transformable, modular little city car from MIT that can spin on its axis and fold up to near vertical.  It’s an interesting design but limited in that it has zero cargo capacity.  They mention private owners – for me, private ownership means you can use your car as you please.  And if I’m driving a friend and some gear for uni around, this car wouldn’t be all that grand.
